Cupcake Challenge 127

Hello everyone, over on Cupcake Challenge 127 we have a theme of Old Macdonald had a Farm and we would like to see something that can be found on a farm! This week we are sponsored by Crafty Emma's Store and the prize is some lovely stash.

For my card I used Brunte from the Magnolia Spring Collection 2008, I masked him off then stamped the flowers behind him to make him look like he was standing in a field of flowers. I coloured the image with copics and added a little stickles to the background. The decorative edge was done using my Martha Stewart punch and the designer paper is MME Bloom and Grow. The ribbon and flowers were provided by Magnolia and I used my sewing machine to stitch around all the elements of the card.

This month there is a slight change to our monthly prize, it is simply going to be an extra chance for you to win! This month our icing on the cupcake is sponsored by Blue Jelly Stampin', Polkadoodles and The Paper Shelter...we have some totally fabby prizes so make sure you join in!

Cupcake Challenge 126

Hello everyone, sorry I'm a little late with this post! Today over on Cupcake Challenge 126 we have a theme of food for thought and this week we are sponsored by Heather Ellis and she is giving the lucky winner their choice of three digi images.

For my card I used Tilda with Ice Cream and the post strawberry sentiment from the Magnolia Lazy Summer Days Collection 2009. The image is colored with copics and the DPs and embellishments were included in a Magnolia DT kit from a while ago. I used my MS trellis punch for the punched edge and I stiched around all the elements with my sewing machine.

This month there is a slight change to our monthly prize, it is simply going to be an extra chance for you to win! This month our icing on the cupcake is sponsored by Blue Jelly Stampin', Polkadoodles and The Paper Shelter...we have some totally fabby prizes so make sure you join in!

Made With Heart Blog Hop

Hello everyone, welcome to the Made with Heart valentine blog hop, I hope you are enjoying the hop so far!

You should have arrived here from Tabitha's Blog, but if not to start the hop from the beginning go to Kristin's Blog.

For my valentine themed card I used my favourite fold of the moment and made an easel card. I decided to go for a non traditional valentine colour scheme just to be a little different. My images and sentient are from Whiff of Joy and they are coloured with copics. The DP is from DCWV and it is all sparkly but unfortunately this doesn't show up too well in the photo. I finished off with some ribbon, a die cut flourish, a charm and some chrome look pearls.

Cupcake Challenge 123

Hello everyone, today we return from our christmas break with Cupcake Challenge 123 and we have a theme of White is White. As you may have guessed we would like to see creations with white as the main colour and this week we are sponsored by our regular sponsor Simon Says Stamp.

I am also entering this card into Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challege 87 where the theme is anything goes.

For my card, strangely enough, there isn't a piece of DP in sight...instead I went mad with my embossing folders! All the card I used has a pearlescent finish so in real life the card is lovely and shimmery. The punched edge was done with an MS punch around the page set and last, but by no means least, I have used Waiting Tilda from the Magnolia Winter Collection 2008. To finish off I used some lush satin ribbon, a snowflake charm and some jewels.

Also this month there is a slight change to our monthly prize, it is simply going to be an extra chance for you to win! This month our icing on the cupcake is sponsored by Blue Jelly Stampin'. Blue Jelly Stampin is, of course, our very own Victoria, who is an Independent Stampin Up! Demonstrator. Stampin Up! are currently running their popular Sale-A-Bration promotion. Victoria is being featured in Quick Cards Magazine, which will be available from 04 January, so if a visit to her faberoony Blog isn’t enough for you, you can get your mitts on her there too! ;)
